Merchant

The Merchants are independent and major marketers who import products or procure from PPMC. They interacts with the platform via user accounts and are enabled to perform the following functions on the platform:

Price setting

Set Sales Prices for their Products (per depot)

Manage request

Approve Sales Requests made by Customers.

Product Release

Manage Release of Product to Customers (after confirmation of Payment).

Tracking

Track details and status of transactions relative to its product

Customer

The Customer are bulk distributors of refined petroleum products or owners of petrol stations who buy these products in bulk and distribute them across the country via Bulk Road Vehicles (Truck Tankers). They interacts with the platform via user accounts (acquired by a signup process) and are enabled to perform the following functions on the platform:

Sale requests

Find products and make sales request for products.

Payment

Pay for approved sales request.

Ticketing

Print Release Tickets for products paid for.

Tracking

Track details and status of transactions relative to its requests and payments.

Product Financiers

The Financiers are mostly made up of Banks, They are the custodian of the platform and interact with the platform via the platform administrative user accounts and staff users and CMA accounts that can be setup by the administrative accounts.

The Financiers take ownership of the platform's Back- end , Setup, Operations, Security and Utilities Module while also having a holistic view of the Report Module of the platform.
